A Little Privacy, Please?

Just read this . . . I could not believe my eyes! While UPCers and the ACLU often don't see eye to eye, I have to say this is one of the most outrageous things I have heard in recent memory. A job applicant being required to divulge his personal information INCLUDING his Facebook password? C'mon. Really? If I hadn't seen it on the Internet, I wouldn't have believed it. (To be honest, part of me still doesn't believe it).

This is an absolute disgrace. It makes it pointless to even turn your profile to private.

But I have heard of it happening more and more.

I have even heard of things such as employers now asking for proof of first year university grades as a way of checking how your work ethic is when there is no necessity attached to it.
The term 'personal life' is seemingly not quite as true as it used to be.

This is way we need an ACLU.

The best part is, if I recall right letting another person use you Facebook profile is a violation of the terms of service.
